The Collective for Educated Black Women and Girls © celebrates and acknowledges the advancement of Black women in literature, media, scholarship, business, and academia. This platform is a resource for Black women, keeping them abreast of professional development opportunities, specialized conferences, and employment advertisements as well as providing a space for Black girls to expand their academic excellence through literacy. It is our goal that this platform will foster change – reframing deficit perspectives, while illuminating the vibrancy and excellency of the contributions that Black women bring to the world. This platform acknowledges the past, maximizes the present, and prepares for the future.
